George Harrison was born in Liverpool, February 25, 1943 (later discovered that his birthday was actually 24). His father Harold was a bus driver and his mother Louise was a homemaker.
George first home was a little “two up, two down” house 12 Arnold Grove, Wavertree. It was something like George, his parents, Harold and his two brothers Peter and his sister Louise, but in 1950 (after 18 years on the waiting list), the family finally got the new Council House, 25 Upton Green, Speke. They moved there day after day of New year 1950.George attended Dovedale primary school, two forms of a John Lennon. Initially it was a pretty good scientist then eleven plus examination and go to the Liverpool Institute (the best school for urban children), but once at school, he began to lose interest in their classes and no exams. He was also very rebellious and began to wear shorts and sanitation hair grow as long as he could, against “the school with short hair” rules.
Paul McCartney went to the same school, which consists of George (one up) and took the bus to school at George. They met on the bus and soon discovered they were in music, Paul introduced George to John Lennon, the group was a member of the Quarry Men. George was initially considered too young to join the group, but it is still spinning, and then all obligations of the parties and eventually became a member of the band.
After you change the name several times, the band finally began to “The Beatles” in 1960. In August 1960 the group (composed John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best) and went to Hamburg, where he spent playing at the Indra Club and then, after closing the Kaiserkeller, both in the red zone, Hamburg, and both owned by Bruno Koschmider. The cooperation ended after the Beatles began playing in the Top Ten Club, against the agreement, which said that it was not allowed to play anywhere within a radius of 25 miles without the consent Koschmider it. Koshcmider issued one month prior to the end, and shortly thereafter, the police somehow found out that George was 18 years old and yet it was illegal stay, let alone work in a club after midnight. As the popularity of the band Beatlemania began to climb and conquered the world, George was at first overshadowed by the talents of the composition of the Lennon / McCartney team. Soon he began to write more songs, however, and eventually proved to be as talented as Paul and John, even though many people still do not appreciate.
During the filming of A Hard Days George met Patti Boyd model. He loved her and asked her for the day. Patti first refused, because she already has a boyfriend, but George was persistent, so I finally relented. They began dating and soon Patti split with her former boyfriend, and went to live with George. They married 26th JANUARY 1966.

At the end of 1965, George was becoming very interested in music and indigenous culture. Bought a sitar, but I had no idea how to use it at the time and had the idea of adding strings sitar Nor is John Wood, first appeared in sitar pop record. India started writing songs influenced and Do You Love Within You Without You, and at the end of 1966 spent a month in India studying the sitar, yoga, Indian philosophy and culture. He also wrote, recorded and produced the soundtrack to the film Wonderwall with Indian musicians in 1968. 25 August 1967, George traveled with the other Beatles to Bangor, North Wales to attend a course in Transcendental Meditation by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Found meditation really interesting and decided to go to India for three months in early 1968 to consider further. The visit was not, as has, however, and the Beatles returned to England earlier than expected, Maharishi and disillusioned, he said that was exactly what was left and not meditation, nor the subject mentioned more. George love for music and indigenous culture remains, and still has the Eastern spiritual beliefs.

For March 12, 1969 – the same day that Paul and Linda married, Patti bugalow opened the door, where they lived, and George find the police. We order the house to search for banned substances. Found some marijuna, and George and Patti were charged with possession of cannabis. Both pleaded guilty, but said he had no idea drugs were, where they were. Ironically, the sergeant, who sought his house was charged several months later, the planting of drugs in the alleged innocent.
Meanwhile, the building tension between the Beatles and early 1969 was a turning point. After falling out with Paul and John, George left the group and according to press reports, he traveled north to visit the parents. He returned after a week, who chose to stay with the group, but this is not the end of stress and problems. George was pleased to go on tour with Delaney & Bonnie in the U.S. in December, as an anonymous user support group of her friends, along with Eric Clapton. I knew it was his only hope to return to the concert stage, without the big headlines, or really even noticed that it can fall into the back of the stage completely unnoticed. He also produced recordings of traditional devotional chants of “Hare Krishna Mantra” from the Radha Krishna temple in September, which became a surprise hit in time.
1970 saw the collapse of the official Beatles. George, it was a good opportunity to go out and record all the songs that he wrote that behind the last 2 years or more. The result was All Things Must Pass, a double album with a bonus disc containing a jam session in the studio. The album includes contributions played guitar with Eric Clapton and many people consider the best solo work of George. However, George was sued for allegedly copying the success of My Sweet Lord song called “He’s So Fine. Case continued until 1976, when George was found guilty of” unconscious “plagiarism, he is fine.

In 1971, George organized a benefit concert for Bangladesh. Other players, including Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Badfinger, and Ravi Shankar. Songs from the concert were released later in history. George also toured the U.S. in 1974, but the visit to George the bad reviews and was criticized for that experimental music, and not playing Beatles songs. Fans were not too thrilled either, and neither George tour again in 1991 (17 years later).
Meanwhile, George’s marriage to Patti was also falling apart. Patti George cheated several times and slow growing, among other reasons, too. Finally, after years of strife, George and Patti divorced in 1977 and later married Patti George friend Eric Clapton, who had long been in love with her. Jorge does not believe that Eric stole from his wife, or nothing, however, and to this day remain friends.
Meanwhile, George met and fell in love with Mexico-California Olivia Arias, who worked as a secretary in his Dark Horse record company. They had one son, Dhani, born on 1 August 1978, and soon after the wedding. In 1980, George published his autobiography, I Me Mine, which is dedicated “to gardeners everywhere,” because, as stated in the book, now sees himself as a gardener.
George was very active during the ’80s years. Wrote a tribute to John called years ago in 1981, in which all the former Beatles worked. Cloud Nine also launched in 1987, which contained hits like Got My Mind Set On You and When We Was Fab. Then in 1988 he became a member of The Traveling Wilburys, a group that was founded by Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and the late Roy Orbison. He was also involved in filmmaking, as co-owner of a business of crafts made films such as Monty Python’s Life of Brian (where George is doing a portrait) and Time Bandits.

In 1994, George met with the two remaining Beatles to record Free as a Bird and Real Love The Beatles Anthology. He was also interviewed, along with other Beatles Beatles Anthology series of television and what later became the Beatles Anthology book.
But in 1998, George was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Went well (as he said, “realized that it was more a warning than anything else”). Then, in late 1999, a man broke into George’s house, near Henley-on-Thames, and threatened to kill George with a knife. It was mad, and believed that the Beatles were witches. George was stabbed in the chest, but fortunately survived the attack with the help of his wife Olivia, who hit the attacker in the head poker and table lamps, thanks to the timely arrival of police. George back, but unfortunately he was again diagnosed with cancer in 2001. He underwent treatment for lung cancer in March, but the brain tumor was found several months later. After undergoing treatment in a hospital in Switzerland, and test a new type of therapy as a last chance in America, George died of illness 29 November 2001.
RIP George, you never forget.
