The Last Air Bender Movie 2010 ; Movie The Last Air Bender ini disutradarai oleh M. Night Shyamalan ini rencananya akan dirilis di Indonesia pada tanggal 21 Juli 2010. Mengadaptasi dari film seri Kartun yang berjudul, Avatar : The Last Air Bender karya Michael Dante DiMartino dan Bryan Konietzko.

Seri kartun aslinya, Avatar: The Legend of Aang mengambil tempat di sebuah dunia fantasi, tempat tinggal manusia, berbagai binatang fantastik, dan roh-roh. Peradaban manusia terbagi-bagi menjadi empat bangsa, Suku Air (Water Tribe), Kerajaan Bumi (Earth Kingdom), Pengembara Udara (Air Nomads), dan Negara Api (Fire Nation). Dalam setiap bangsa ada orang-orang yang dipanggil Bender (secara harfiah berarti “Pembengkok, namun dalam hal ini dianggap “Pengendali”) yang memiliki kemampuan mengendalikan unsur alam sesuai kelompok mereka. Seni mengendalikan unsur alam ini merupakan perpaduan gaya seni beladiri dan sihir unsur alam.

Dalam versi Movie yang berjudul The Last Air Bender ini, inti ceritanya tidak jauh beda dari versi kartun nya, berikut ini sinopsis singkat yang diambil dari situs resminya

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction.
